History of Gresley Hall
Join the Close Encounters uk Team as we investigate the spooktacular Gresley Old Hall in Swadlincote.
Dating back to the 16th Century, haunted Gresley Old Hall was built from the remains of the old priory
which stood on this site in the early 1100's until 1500's. During its life Gresley Hall has been used for numerous purposes which includes earthenware and clothing. The Old Hall has also been used as a farmhouse and in its

time has homed many farming families.
There have been sightings of a little girl, also a maid who tragically died in a fire while looking after children of one of the farmers, people have complained of feeling like their face is on fire, also being touched. Will we be fortunate to communicate with the spirits of Gresley Old Hall.
